Odette Annable

Actress Odette Annable (House) has joined the cast of the upcoming ABC summer series The Astronaut Wives Club that is based on the Lily Koppel novel. The series tells the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race. Annable will play Trudy Cooper, the youngest of the Astro-wives and a licensed pilot herself. A tomboy with aspirations of her own, her forward thinking challenges not just her husband but the other wives. The Astronaut Wives Club has not been given an official airdate yet, but it will air this summer on ABC.

Patton Oswalt

Patton Oswalt

Fan-favorite actor-comedian Patton Oswalt (Justified and the animated film Ratatouille) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, playing Agent Eric Koenig, who was part of Nick Fury’s team of World War II soldiers in the original Marvel comics. The next new episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD will air on April 1 on ABC.
