A Salute to Our Future Nice Boys
Since August of 2008, when we here at NiceGirlsTV saluted our very first Nice Boy – Zachary Levi from fan favorite TV series Chuck – we have had great fun over the years selecting each special Nice Boy to be highlighted.
In honor of all those Nice Boys, and after seeing some familiar faces (at least to me) in several dramas over the last few weeks, I felt it would be fun to take a look at some potential Nice Boys, actors who haven’t quite made it “big” in the industry yet, but given time they will be the next hot new face on a future hit show or much-buzzed-about movie.
Let’s take a look at them:
Aaron Hill – He has been acting for the past 13 years, appearing in over 60 episodes of Greek as well as guest roles in shows like Castle, Perception, Glee, Fairly Legal, Rizzoli & Isles, NCIS: Los Angeles, Baby Daddy, Breaking Bad and Mad Men (among others). Right now, though, he can be seen as Deputy Eddie Garrett in the new ABC Family drama Twisted.
Ryan Kelley – Ryan has been acting since he was a child, making guest appearances in episodes of Smallville, Cold Case, Boston Legal, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Ghost Whisperer and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Currently, he is appearing in a small recurring role on Teen Wolf, playing Deputy Parrish.
Luke Kleintank – TV viewers currently know him as Travis on the ABC Family soap opera Pretty Little Liars, but he had a recurring role in the short-lived ABC drama No Ordinary Family, had guest roles in Parenthood, Mercy, Person of Interest, The Good Wife and CSI. He was also one of the many squinterns on Bones.
Mitchell Kummen – He may be a teenager, but he is definitely a grown-up Nice Boy in the making with his recurring roles in both the new CW drama The Tomorrow People (he is the teenage version of John Young) and the new Hallmark Channel period drama When Calls the Heart (he is Gabe Montgomery). He has also appeared in the holiday TV movie Lucky Christmas and the fantasy-horror flick Horns.
Are there any up-and-coming actors who you think deserve to be on our list of future Nice Boys? Please share.
PS: I want to extend a happy St. Patrick’s Day for all those who celebrate the day!
