This week’s casting couch features the following upcoming guest stars:

James Brolin

James Brolin

Veteran actor James Brolin (who has most recently appeared in episodes of Castle and Community but is probably best known for the classic soap opera Hotel) will guest star in the season finale of the new Hallmark Channel period piece drama When Calls the Heart, playing circuit judge Jedidiah Black, a legendary man who is insolent, insufferable and incorruptible who is welcomed to Coal Valley in a bid to bring justice to the town. The season finale of When Calls the Heart will air on Hallmark Channel on March 29.

Janel Parrish

Janel Parrish

Actress Janel Parrish (Mona on Pretty Little Liars) will make a guest appearance on Drop Dead Diva, appearing in the show’s upcoming final season. She will play Chelsea Jones, a cheerleader for a professional basketball team who finds viral video fame after someone captures her epic on-field meltdown on camera. When she decides to sue the team, she calls in Jane (series lead Brooke Elliot) for help, but also becomes a target of bullying by the head cheerleader. Drop Dead Diva is back for the start of its last season on Lifetime on March 23 with a 2-hour premiere.

Sherry Stringfield

Sherry Stringfield

Actress Sherry Stringfield (ER) has joined the cast of the CBS summer series Under the Dome for its second season. She will play Pauline, a mysterious woman who may be connected to the origins of the dome. Under the Dome will be back on CBS starting on June 30.

B.J. Britt

B.J. Britt

Actor B.J. Britt (One Tree Hill and Being Mary Jane) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., playing Agent Triplett, an associate of Bill Paxton’s character. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back with a new episode on ABC on March 4.
