Breaking News: The Good and Bad News About DROP DEAD DIVA

By  |

The good news for Drop Dead Diva, the resurrected series (in more ways than one) on Lifetime that focuses on an aspiring model killed in a car crash and brought back to life as a plus-size lawyer, will be back with its two-hour season premiere on Sunday, March 23 at 9 PM.

The bad news for Drop Dead Diva, though, is that this upcoming sixth season of the series will be its last – no coming back from the grave this time.

While that is bittersweet news for the fans, at least this time around the creative minds behind the show will have this entire new season to work out an ending befitting the show and one that will, hopefully, make the fans happy.

Drop Dead Diva stars Brooke Elliott as Jane Bingum, lawyer extraordinary who just so happens to have the soul of beautiful, but once-vain, model Deb Dobkins. The cast of the fan favorite series includes Margaret Cho, Jackson Hurst, Kate Levering, April Bowlby and Lex Medlin.

Fans should mark their calendars for March 23 for the sixth season two-hour premiere of Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime at 9 PM.
