The Good Wife – Season 5 Premiere: Everything is Ending

Alicia is confronted by the Partners.

Everything is Ending provided a great start to Season Five and opened up   Pandora’s Box of possibilities.

As always, its the details that we love so much:

• Monica on a stick is just plain creepy.
I wouldn’t want to work with her either.

• Execution delay due to extreme vein mining expedition leading to “A Snitches Tale” was genius.

• The coup is on sans Kalinda, but David Lee smells a rat and proves why he has evaded so many traps all these years.

• Marilyn strikes again in politics and “The Bimbo Factor” leads to a staffing change with the Governor.

• Grace discovers Daddy’s spotlight puts her on an unexpected “Hot List.”

• And, with the first note of the ukulele we knew, the end would be as the beginning, but the tears would be happy ones, thanks to an eleventh hour legal intervention from Will.

Which leaves us to speculate on the Adam and Eve story developing between Alicia and Peter.
Who will take a bite from forbidden fruit? The stakes for failure are ever so much higher under the microscope. How far is Alicia willing to go with Cary in her quest for independence from the men in her life? Peter finds the enticements of winning may be too sweet to deny.
Will history repeat itself?
