PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: Finally, Some Answers!

According to Pretty Little Liars story creator Marlene King, this season will be the one where we finally get the answers to all the questions this show has brought up. Yes! “We decided let’s not wait until the last season of the show to give all of these answers. We have so many questions we’ve asked and fans have been really patient, so this is the entire season of answers and the premiere sets the tone for that.”

Three questions that will be answered in the premiere are:

1. What’s in the trunk of Wilden’s car? “It’s something I personally look away from every time I see that scene,” teases King.
2. Is Ali really alive? King says, “We address it right away but you don’t find the answer to it in the premiere. Was it Ali? Was it someone wearing an Ali mask? That really is the theme of the season as well and you will find out by the end of the season if it was Ali or them thinking they saw Ali or possibly someone in an Ali mask.”
3. Who is the Queen of Hearts? King replies, “I think it’s really shocking and really fun and it’s definitely an “OMG” moment. I don’t people are going to be expecting who that is.”

Other issues that will be tackled are Toby’s past, A’s new target, the new police officers in town, trust issues between Mona and the girls and Toby and Spencer, and Aria’s life after Ezra. Also, with Tyler Blackburn moving off to Ravenswood, how is that going to affect Hannah?

King promises that by the end of this season we will have answers to all of these questions, and maybe open up more. I mean after all, once you unmask A what’s left? Probably a whole lot that I can’t even imagine, but I trust Marlene King to have a few cards up her sleeve.

Pretty Little Liars premieres Tuesday, June 11, at 8/7c on ABC Family.
