Continuum Cast

The Canadian sci-fi series Continuum that will air its season premiere this Friday, June 7 at 10 PM on Syfy has been given a third season renewal by its home network in Canada: Showcase

As a refresher, Continuum focuses on Officer Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols from Alias and Star Trek), a future Vancouver law enforcement officer (called a Protector), who is involuntarily transported from the year 2077 to 2012 when a group of rebels convicted as terrorists escape execution. In order to track the terrorists down and keep them from changing the past (and presumably future), Kiera joins the Vancouver Police Department, using the skills of a young tech expert, Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen from Jericho), to both track the Liber8 agents’ pasts and provide her with the necessary information and contacts to operate in the present despite her lack of official credentials.

The cast of Continuum also includes Victor Webster (Castle and Mutant X), Stephen Lobo (Arctic Air), Roger Cross (24) and Lexa Doig (Stargate: SG-1).

Congrats to the cast and crew of the show on the third season pick-up and make sure you catch the season premiere of season 2 of Continuum this Friday!
