The cast includes James Spader (Boston Legal) and Megan Boone (Law & Order: Los Angeles. From Jon Bokenkamp and John Eisendrath (among others).

Dracula – It’s the late 19th century and the mysterious Dracula has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He’s especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night – useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: He hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. The cast includes Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors), Jessica De Gouw (Arrow) and Katie McGrath (Merlin). From Tony Krantz and Gareth Neame (among others).

Ironside – This modern-take on the classic TV series about Det. Robert Ironside, a fearless cop who won’t stop until the guilty are brought to justice. The cast include Blair Underwood, Spencer Grammer (Greek) and Kenneth Choi (Sons of Anarchy). From David Semel (among others).

New Mid-Season Dramas:

Believe – Since she was 2 years old, Bo has had gifts she could neither fully understand, nor control. Raised by a small group known as the “True Believers,” the orphaned girl has been safeguarded from harmful outsiders who would use her forces for personal gain. But now that she is 10, her powers have become stronger and the threat has grown more dangerous. With her life and future now in jeopardy, the “Believers” turn to the only person they see fit to be her full-time protector. That is, once they break him out of jail. The cast includes newcomer Johnny Sequoyah as Bo and Jake McLaughlin (Crash) and Delroy Lindo. From Director Alfonso Cuaron, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burke (among others).

Chicago PD – This is a spin-off from Chicago Fire. District 21 of the Chicago Police Department is made up of two distinctly different groups: The uniformed cops who patrol the beat and deal with street crimes, and the intelligence unit, the team that combats the city’s major offenses, such as organized crime, drug trafficking and high-profile murders. The cast includes Jason Beghe and Jon Seda. From Dick Wolf and Mat Olmstead (among others).

Crisis – It’s field trip day for the students of Ballard High School, a place that educates the children of Washington, D.C.’s elite, top-of-their-industry CEOs, international diplomats, political power players and even the president’s son. But when their bus is ambushed on a secluded rural road, the teenagers and their chaperones are taken, igniting a national crisis. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Gillian Anderson and Rachael Taylor (666 Park Avenue). From Rand Ravich (Life).

Crossbones – It’s 1715 on the Bahamian island of New Providence, the first functioning democracy in the Americas, where the diabolical pirate Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard reigns over a rogue nation of thieves, outlaws and miscreant sailors. The cast includes John Malkovich. From Neil Cross (among others).

The Night Shift – The focus is on the men and women who work the wee hours at San Antonio Memorial Hospital. The cast includes Eoin Macken (Merlin), Brendan Fehr (Roswell) and Ken Leung (Lost). From Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah (among others).

The NBC shows that did not make it include: 1600 Penn, Deception, Go On, Guys with Kids, The New Normal, Rock Center, Smash, Up All Night and Whitney.

The network still has to make a final decision on the following: Hannibal, Fashion Star, Celebrity Apprentice and Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.
