Season Finales Are Coming

Can you believe that it is that time of the year again? We are “this close” to the conclusion of the 2012-2013 TV season and all of the major networks (and some of the cable networks too) are kicking their season enders into high gear. Over the course of the next few weeks, TV viewers will have a lot to look forward to as the networks always plan big and exciting finales for all of their shows.

The list that follows is the season (or in some instances series) finales for all of the 2012-2013 dramas on the major networks as well as those few cable dramas that are coming to a close. Get your calendars out and mark down all of your favorites so you don’t miss out.

On May 1, the season finale of the new cable drama The Americans that stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys will air on FX at 10 PM.

The final five episodes of the last season of the fan favorite series Merlin will air on Syfy every Friday night at 10 PM every week throughout next month from May 3 until May 31.

The season finale of the popular CBS series The Mentalist will air on May 5 at 10 PM. That same night also at 10 PM ABC will air the final episode of the new drama Red Widow.

On May 7, The CW drama Hart of Dixie will air its season finale at 8 PM.

The season finale of the FOX musicomedy Glee will air at 9 PM on May 9. Over on CBS, that same night, Person of Interest will air its season finale also at 9 PM.

On May 10, FOX will air the season finale (and more so probably the series finale) of its Kiefer Sutherland-led drama Touch at 9 PM. That same night, over on CBS, the final episodes of Vegas and Blue Bloods will air at 9 and 10 PM respectively.

It will be a big night on ABC on May 12 with the one-hour season finale of the fairytale drama Once Upon a Time at 8 PM followed by the two-hour season finale of the soap opera drama Revenge.

The series finale of The CW drama 90210 will air on May 13 at 9 PM while the 5th season finale of Castle will air that same night over on ABC at 10 PM.

May 14 will be a big day night on CBS with NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and Golden Boy all airing their season finales (and in the case of Golden Boy possibly its final episode, period) at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively.

Both season finales of Arrow and Supernatural will air on May 15 at 8 and 9 PM respectively on The CW while the season finale of CSI will air at 10 PM on CBS that same night.

May 16 will be a big night for TV viewers; first with the season finales of The Vampire Diaries and Beauty And the Beast airing on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively while Elementary will air it season finale on CBS at 10 PM. ABC will also air the season finales of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal at 9 and 10 PM respectively.

Nikita will air its season finale on The CW at 8 PM on May 17.

The season finale of Doctor Who will air on BBC America on May 18 at 8 PM.

Hawaii Five-0 will air its season finale on CBS at 10 PM on May 20; and that same night the series finale of The Big C: Hereafter will air on Showtime at 10 PM.

And now with Grimm moving to Tuesday nights, the season finale will air on May 21 on NBC at 10 PM.

May 22 will be another big night of finales with NBC airing the two-hour season finale of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9 PM as well as Nashville airing its season finale on ABC at 10 PM. Also that night will feature the two-hour season finale of Criminal Minds on CBS at 9 PM.

Smash will air its two-hour series finale on May 26 on NBC at 9 PM.

On May 28, ABC will air the season finale of Body of Proof at 10:01 PM.

Lastly, Psych will air its season finale on the USA Network on May 29 at 10 PM.

Needless to say, there is a lot for TV viewers to anticipate over the course of May so make sure to mark your calendars and enjoy of all the finales.
