Actor Sean Faris, who most recently appeared in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies Christmas with Holly [and was a Nice Boy of the Week here at NiceGirlsTV] and The Lost Valentine, will be appearing in a recurring role on the popular teen soap opera Pretty Little Liars when the series returns for its much-anticipated 4th season this June.

According to a report at TV Guide, Faris will play Pennsylvania state police office Gabriel Holbrook. There are no other details on this new recurring character, but it has to mean one thing: the girls are in some pretty big trouble if the state police are showing up in Rosewood.

TV viewers will recognize Faris from his guest roles in shows like Smallville, One Tree Hill, Boston Public, The Vampire Diaries and Leverage as well as the short-lived dramas Life As We Know It and Reunion. He has also appeared in the box office films Yours, Mine and Ours, Sleepover and Never Back Down.

Pretty Little Liars will be back with a new season on ABC Family starting on June 11.
