NICE BOY OF THE WEEK: Sam Palladio

By  |

The Nice Boy of the Week this week is actor Sam Palladio, who current stars as Gunnar Scott on the new ABC musical drama Nashville.

Sam is a British actor and musician, who got his start in acting in 2010 on the British comedy called Little Crackers. He followed that up with guest roles in the British soap opera Doctors and the acclaimed British drama The Hour in 2011. That same year he appeared in the British film 7 Lives.

Before landing his role on Nashville, Sam appeared in the British sketch show called Cardinal Burns, the British comedy series Walking and Talking and the American version of Episodes that stars Matt LeBlanc.

According to a story he shared at the salute to Nashville at PaleyFest 2013 earlier this month, he auditioned for Nashville on tape in England and his first taste of America was landed in Nashville to begin filming the pilot of the new musical drama for ABC. Luckily for him, at least so far, Nashville has been holding its own, making him a recognizable face with avid TV viewers and an overnight singing sensation. He is also featured in several of the songs on the soundtrack for the ABC drama.

And, later this year Sam will be seen in the box office film Runner, Runner that is set to star Ben Affleck, Justin Timberlake, Gemma Arterton and Anthony Mackie.
