NECESSARY ROUGHNESS: John Stamos Woos Dr. Dani (Watch Out, Matt!)

Nico and Matt are about to have even more competition: John Stamos has joined Necessary Roughness for a multi-episode arc when the series returns for season 3 this summer. So far his character is only copping to professional interest in Dr. Dani, but how long until he falls for her emotionally?

Per USA, Stamos will play Connor McClane, the founder of V3, a sports and entertainment management company that has expanded into a global empire.  This self-made man represents the superstars of today and the up-and-coming stars of tomorrow in every field:  sports, entertainment, fashion and music.  Connor has an ability to recognize talent and nurture greatness.  In the wake of Dr. Dani’s success with TK and the New York Hawks, Connor will do whatever it takes to woo the good Doctor into working with the V3 family.

Be afraid, Matt, be very afraid.

By the way, this recurring guest star role is in addition to Stamos’ recurring role on The New Normal, the pilot he’s headlining for NBC (I Am Victor), a movie he’s producing featuring Beach Boys songs (he also plays in a Beach Boys cover band), his gig as spokesman for Oikos Greek yogurt, and supporting Project Cuddle. So basically he’s making the rest of us look lazy.

Necessary Roughness season 3 returns to USA this summer for a 10-episode run.
