Never let it be said that a devoted fan following for any TV show cannot make a difference!

In just a few hours time, the fans of the three-season-long UPN then The CW series Veronica Mars have accumulated an impressive $1,000,000 for the Kickstarter Campaign for which series creator Rob Thomas and lead actress Kristen Bell put up at the online campaign-fundraising site this morning (March 12).

You can read all the details on the plans for the much-talked-about (for years!) Veronica Mars movie by visiting their official Kickstarter Campaign site right here, learning the plans that have been set forth by Thomas and Bell (as well as the show’s owner – Warner Bros.) as well as ALL of the great donation levels and the PERKS that come with all of those donation levels.

While you are at the site please make sure to check out the video that actors Bell, Ryan Hansen, Jason Dohring and Enrico Colanatoni made with Rob Thomas (which was actually filmed LAST YEAR) where they talk about the campaign.

And, if you can help out, please donate at whatever level you can afford. It’s all going to a good cause!!

PS: It is stated that if the reach their campaign goal, they will film the movie this summer for a 2014 release. Can you just hear it now: Welcome to WonderCon (and/or) Comic Con to the cast and creative team of Veronica Mars, here to promote their theatrical release!!
