DROP DEAD DIVA Is Not Canceled After All

Drop Dead Diva New

It was reported back in January that the Lifetime dramedy Drop Dead Diva was being canceled despite a big cliffhanger ending from its fourth season finale.

But as of last week, the fans of the popular series need no longer worry as the show is coming back for a fifth season after all!

There had been speculation from the beginning that Lifetime was open to reconsidering their stance against the show, but that decision hinged on the powers that be coming up with a new “financial model” for the show. That issue was obviously worked out and now star Brooke Elliott, the rest of the cast and crew as well as creator Josh Berman can get back to work on a new season that will hopefully answer a lot of lingering questions from the seemingly failed wedding of Owen French and Jane Bingham and SO much more.

Congrats to everyone at Drop Dead Diva for getting this fantastic second chance!!
