NICE BOY OF THE WEEK: Charlie Bewley
Charles “Charlie” Martin Bewley was born on January 25th 1981 in London. He was raised on a farm and has lived in Paris and Vancouver before settling in Los Angeles where he currently resides. He is the oldest of four, two brothers James and Andrew, and sister Lydia.
You have seen this sexy actor in the movies Like Crazy, Intersection, and Slightly Single in LA. He is best known for his role as Volturi Vampire Demetri in The Twilight Saga films New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn part 1 and part 2. Now Charlie is turning the tables from playing a vampire to playing a vampire hunter on The Vampire Diaries. His character Vaughn is one of The Five and is described as charming and tough (which he will have no problem pulling off).
Charlie is a charismatic and fun guy who loves his fans as much as they love him. I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie at several Twilight events and he was always so nice to his fans. He tells great stories and keeps everyone laughing. You can catch up with him on Creation Entertainment’s official Vampire Diaries convention stops in Chicago, IL on April 6-7, Parsippany, NJ July 13-14, Dallas, TX August 17-18, and Orlando, FL December 14-15, 2013.
Not only is he great to his fans, but he is involved with charities as well. He is a runner and uses that ability to stay fit and run marathons to raise money for causes that are close to his heart. He was inspired by a woman he met on a Twilight set named Joceyln Clarke, who was fighting a rare form of lung cancer, to run two marathons to raise money for her treatment. Sadly she passed away, but he continued his efforts and raised $20,000 for cancer research. Way to go Charlie!
Charlie is definitely an actor you want to keep your eye on. You can currently catch him as Vaughn on The Vampire Diaries and starring in the upcoming film Hammer of the Gods later this year. To keep up with this nice boy you can follow him on Twitter @alchemission and check out his website. The Vampire Diaries airs Thursday nights at 8/7 on The CW.
