For four seasons, actor Eric Mabius appeared on the ABC dramedy Ugly Betty and now he will be making a return visit (albeit briefly) to ABC in a guest appearance on the network’s latest juicy drama Scandal.

He will appear as a powerful senator who (what else?) turns to Olivia Pope and Associates for help in his time of need.

Since the end of Ugly Betty, Mabius has appeared in the short-lived sci-fi series Outcasts and in episodes of The Client List, Franklin & Bash and Political Animals as well as having the lead in the Hallmark Channel movie How To Fall in Love.
