DRAGON*CON: I Spy…Celebrity Sightings
There were over 300 celebrities in Atlanta over the past weekend for Dragon*Con, so I was ready to get my “I SPY” on and find some. You can go to the Walk of fame at Dragon*Con and get autographs, but I wanted more than that! I did bump into a few celebs which made my Dragon*Con experience even better. Check out my I SPY sightings below.
Amber Benson– I was walking from the Marriott to the Hilton and saw this Buffy star in the sky bridge. She looked great as always and was super nice to fans.
Nelsan Ellis– I have to start by saying, I absolutely love this man and Lafayette is my favorite character on True Blood. So, I was excited to have the chance to talk to him. A friend of mine wanted to get his autograph so I went with her and he talked to us for quite a bit. He was so nice and he told us about the play he is currently directing called “Hoodoo Love” that runs from September 22-October 21 in Chicago at the Athenaeum Theatre. What a talented man!
Lou Ferrigno– I saw Lou getting his Hulk on at the gym in the Marriott! How awesome is that? He still makes time to work out in the middle of Dragon*Con. Keep up the good work Lou!
Paul Wesley– Holy Salvatore! I literally bumped into Paul in the lobby of the Hilton. I was looking down at my Dragon*Con schedule and smacked right into him. I looked up and thought he was a mirage! I said “Hi Paul!” and he smiled and said “Hi you!” If I was gonna bump into anyone, I’m glad it was him. It was pretty cool.
Jason Momoa– Wow! What a beautiful man! I saw him on the second floor of the Hilton on his way out. It was his last day and he was on his way to the airport. Oh Jason, you know you want to stay in Atlanta for awhile longer! I also saw him on Friday night and took my picture with him before his panel! *insert fangirl squeal*
Nathaniel Buzolic– Kol from Vampire Diaries was enjoying the sights at Dragon*Con himself. I saw him once at the Marriott enjoying the costumes, and then again at the Peachtree Center food court. Hey, celebrities have to eat too!
Raphael Sbarge– I saw this Once Upon A Time star at the Hilton and he donated a few autographed pictures for various charities. What a sweetheart!
Steve Gonsalves & Dave Tango– these two Dragon*Con fan favorites are always entertaining. I saw them in the walk of fame and I got to take a picture with the Ghost Hunters stars. They are always so nice to the fans and talk candidly about their paranormal experiences. Love them!
Josh Gates– Mr. Destination Truth himself was at the walk of fame and he is amazing. I was excited to take my picture with him as well. Destination Truth airs on Syfy and is a facinating show.
And last but not least………….Drumroll please…………….
Ian Somerhalder– *insert loud rowdy fangirl squeal here* I was lucky enough to get my picture taken with this beautiful man on Sunday after the Vampire Diaries panel. He was so gracious with fans and donated a few autographs for charity. What a wonderful man!
