ALPHAS Recap: Alphaville

Bill and Rosen are talking about the need to know what the photo stimulator does. Rosen is sure it is crucial to Stanton’s war plan. He is going to have Skylar figure out what it does.

Rachel and John are at a diner. Rachel’s ability is making it hard for her to eat anything. Rachel has to go, but she can’t tell John where. Rosen is really paranoid right now about security. She does think it is sweet that he wants to come along and protect her though. He touches her hand and her ability causes her to draw back suddenly. She apologizes, they will get there, but she has to go right now.

In the office the team is getting ready to leave. Hicks is on the phone with Rosen’s daughter. She is worried that Nina is going on this latest mission. Hicks says not to worry, give her a chance.
As soon as Hicks hangs up Rosen’s daughter turns around and texts someone, “they are on the move.”

The team is driving in the woods looking for Skylar’s signal. Gary yells to stop and jumps out of the car. Someone can be seen running through the woods. They come upon some interesting guys in trench coats. They tell the team to turn around. Bill doesn’t think so and he guns the engine. One of the guys puts his hand on the car and stalls the engine.
Gary: I wonder what the other two do.
Nina: We don’t want to find out. (as one of the guys opens the side door to the can)
Gary: Oh, he opens doors.

Skylar shows up just then and tells the Alphas to back off. Rosen asks Skylar if those guys are friends of hers and she says no and neither are you. She tells them to go home before turning around and walking away.
Rosen goes after her. He tells her he needs her help. She says they don’t help outsiders. Rosen is confused because he thought Skylar wasn’t with them.
He grabs the photo light devise and asks Skylar to figure out what it does. She repeats doesn’t want to help them. Rosen reminds her he didn’t have to help her elude the NSA, that was a huge risk on his part. Skylar can’t believe he is playing that card, but it works.

They get to an old summer camp that the Alpha “refuges” fixed up. That is where Skylar is staying. In comes Skylar’s daughter, Zoe, she is all over the place. Rosen occupies her making Skylar smile and ease up a little bit on him.

Gary and Bill are walking around the camp. Gary can’t find a signal and he is annoyed. They come across a bunch of bees and a man that can “speak bee”. He is the founder of this “colony”. Bill wants to talk to him about security. He says they never needed any. Everyone gets along ok.

Skylar is still looking into the photo stimulator. She has found that something is draining the battery. She is about to figure out what it is when Claude (the founder) walks in. Rosen goes to shake his hand but Claude just looks at him and walks over to see what Skylar is working on. He gives Skylar a look and then leaves. Skylar lets Rosen know that stunt he pulled letting the world know about Alphas didn’t win him any friends there.

Skylar is going to dinner so Rosen puts the photo stimulator in his bag. He isn’t letting it out of his sight.

Bill and Gary are walking outside. Actually Gary says he is walking back to the office because he doesn’t have any of his things and Bill is trying to talk him out of it. There is a guy running around in the woods behind him. While Bill and Gary are looking up at the sky that guy, with a switchblade, stands behind them and they don’t seem to notice.

Gary and Bill get down to dinner and the guy that was running through the woods gets back to his two friends; the main one of which was the “leader” of the Building Seven Escapees. They are watching everyone from up in the woods. The girl wants to grab the machine, the leader says no, than they will know it is valuable. They are only to grab it if they figure out what it does.

Rosen is walking along the path after dinner alone when the guy that stalled the engine to begin with pushes Rosen down and uses his ability on him as well as stomping the photo stimulator. Hicks isn’t far behind though and he grabs a rock, throwing it perfectly at the angry Alphas throat. Hicks helps Rosen up as Claude shows up and tells them there is no violence there. Rosen would like to disagree. Claude interrupts and tells Rosen they can spend the night but they must be gone by morning.

In Skylar’s cabin Rachel and Skylar are trying to put the photo stimulator back together. Rachel finds something on one of the wires but before they can figure out what exactly it is Skylar’s daughter overhears Skylar say things were so much easier when she was alone. Zoe runs out of the house and Skylar runs after her.
Rachel accidentally turns the photo stimulator on while it is pointing at her and she has a seizure. Her powers are all over the place. It has amplified her Alpha ability. Rosen talks her back to somewhere near “normal” while Skylar is out in the woods looking for her daughter.
The whole time she is looking for her daughter one of the Building Seven Escapees is tracking her. Then the leader of the Building Seven group shows up to talk to Skylar. He tells Skylar he wants the machine she fixed and to show just how serious he is he drops Zoe’s toy at her feet.

The team is getting ready to leave but Gary insists he is staying. He has his own cabin picked out and everything. Gary has really gotten into this whole listening to the signals of nature thing.
Rosen gets back to Skylar’s cabin but she is gone and so is the machine. He finds her in the barn in a standoff with the Building Seven Leader. Rosen grabs the machine and points it at Building Seven Boy (yes I know he has a name but I can’t seem to remember it), he drops to the ground and seizes. Rosen grabs Skylar and says they will find her daughter. They use Rachel’s ability to track her down. Bill, Hicks and Skylar run towards the building where Zoe is being held.
Building Seven Leader comes too, sets the barn on fire and gives a menacing look.
In the car Rachel smells the fire, it’s moving towards the camp, Rosen, Rachel and Nina jump back into the car and take off to warn people.

Hicks is in the building where they have Skylar’s daughter. The Alpha with the sneaky power is right behind him with a knife. He is about to stab Hicks but Hicks gets the jump on him and Bill takes out the other Alpha. Bill is pretty badly hurt in the struggle though.
They are about to leave when Building Seven Boy (see how much fun that nickname is) shows up. He starts the stairs on fire trapping them all in the basement.

Rosen gets back to the camp and starts helping people evacuate. Claude however is still being a bit of an ass.

In the basement Skylar puts together a devise that puts out the fire. They all make it out of the building.

Later Skylar and her daughter are in a diner eating. Stanton shows up introduces himself and gives Skylar an offer. He offers her an environment where her and her daughter can thrive. She seems a bit skeptical.

Back at the office Rachel is sitting in the dark trying to recoup. John comes in to check on her. He brings her a paper crane. He wanted to bring her flowers but he knows how the smell bothers her. She smiles, he gets her. She pulls him in and kisses him.

Rosen’s daughter is in the office with Hicks. She is concerned that he could have been killed. She apologizes, you know, even though it wasn’t her fault…they start to kiss.

In Rosen’s office Bill and Rosen are trying to figure out how Stanton knew where they were going to be. Rosen wants Bill to vet everyone. Absolutely everyone and don’t tell anyone else about this.

We end on a close up of Dr. Rosen’s daughters face.
