SMASH Casting Announcement: Sean Hayes to Appear

It’s gonna be a mini-Will & Grace reunion on Smash this mid-season with actor (and Grimm Executive Producer) Sean Hayes showing up on the NBC musical drama.

Hayes will play Terrence Walls, a comedic TV and film star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical called “Liaisons” that is based on the novel “Les Liaisons Dangereuses”. But, because of a series of comedic circumstances, Terrence becomes a thorn in the side of Ivy (Megan Hilty) and other characters.

He will have a multi-episode arc when Smash returns to NBC this mid-season (in other words sometime next Spring). (Source: The Hollywood Reporter)
