DALLAS: Revelations

By  |

I can’t believe the season is over! What a way to end this season! As always, there is nothing but drama in Southfork so let’s get down to it!

We begin with Tommy falling to the floor. He was shot at the end of last week’s episode. Rebecca makes a call to a mystery person and says she is in trouble. She immediately starts cleaning up all the evidence, and everything is carried out in a dumpster including Tommy’s dead body.

The whole gang is at the Hospital waiting to find out how Bobby is doing. He is out of surgery but hasn’t awakened, so they don’t know if he has any brain damage. JR snuck off to see Bobby in his room even though he wasn’t supposed to. He held his hand and told him to “Wake up and keep fighting. I love you Bobby and I don’t know where I would be without you.” Aw! JR appears to be getting a little soft in his old age.

Rebecca shows up to the hospital rattled and Chris thinks it is because of his father. He tries to reassure her that Bobby will be alright, and notices bruises on her eye and chest. She admits that she had a fight with Tommy, but he left for good and promised to never return. Chris had his wedding ring on and told her she should wear hers too. He wants to make it work for the sake of the twins.

Rebecca went to Tommy’s hotel room to find her wedding rings, but she wasn’t successful. She called the mystery person and asked where they put Tommy’s body because she needed to find something. She went to a van where Tommy’s body was and looked through his pockets for her rings (Eww!). She found a slip to a pawn shop with her rings listed on the ticket.

Dallas-revelationsBobby woke up to find Chris and Ann sleeping in his room. He seemed alright, so Chris went to get the doctor to check him out.

John Ross took Elena to a new building under construction that will be the home of Ewing Energies. He rented it with everyone in mind. It was the old Ewing Oil building. He wants to show Chris that the Ewing name means something to him. He then pulled out a beautiful ring and proposed to Elena! She accepted and they kissed! So Sweet! (Ok, so far this episode has been very sweet and happy. I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop). Chris comes to the space and really appreciates that John Ross rented it for their company. He was a little shocked to see the engagement ring on Elena’s finger, but wished them well. They toasted to “Mending Fences and Being Happy!”

JR visits Bobby just as his lawyer was leaving. He told JR that they found a video of JR with Fake Marta conspiring against him. JR asked if he was going to send him to jail and Bobby told him it was time for him to clean up his mess with the Venezuelans and to stop double dealing (I knew there wouldn’t be peace in the family for too long!).

Bobby is being released from the hospital and Sue Ellen stopped by with a plant. Sue Ellen tells Ann that she set up a press conference and she is going to bow out of the Governor’s race. She doesn’t want to allow Ryland to launder dirty money through her PAC. That is a decision she feels good about.

Dallas-revelationsChris and John Ross are playing basketball when JR shows up to tell him about Fake Marta’s videos and Bobby’s plan to take them to the authorities. John Ross says he will not confess to anything. The lawyer tells him that the videos show that he brought Veronica/Fake Marta on before JR was involved. The videos prove that John Ross asked her to impersonate Marta Del Sol. John Ross defends himself by saying JR is the one who stole Southfork, not him. John Ross is really trying to put the family drama behind him but he can’t get out of this. Elena glowing in her new engaged bliss walks by and overhears everything. John Ross agrees to confess to conspiring with Veronica/Fake Marta and Vicente to takeover Southfork, only if his confession is sealed and it stays between them and they won’t tell Elena. Elena walks in disgusted and said you lied about everything. He tried to explain but she took her ring off. He cried and she cried (and there is that other shoe).

Ann visits Ryland and tells him to back off of Sue Ellen. She told him she knew about the money laundering and asked if he would take it out on her. He propositions her and she slowly starts removing her clothes. She revealed a wire and lets him know to stay away from her family and Sue Ellen or his recorded confession will go to the police. He tried to grab her and she punched him in the face! Way to go Ann! Ann clearly is not the one to be messed with.

Vicente is meeting with Frank, Cliff Barnes’ right hand man, about selling the technology rights and his lean on Southfork, when the FBI shows up. They take Vicente to the FBI and JR, Bobby, and Chris were there waiting for him. They told him none of his contracts were valid because of fraud and that he would be going to jail for fraud and murder. John Ross and JR got immunity for their confessions so they will not be joining him jail. JR tries to leave and Bobby lets him know that he was not going to send him to jail, but he does have a copy of Veronica/Fake Marta’s Cloud drive and if he crosses Bobby again he will use it.

Dallas-revelationsChris doesn’t know if he can get past John Ross’ actions even though he has been good the last few days. John Ross gets a call from his informant that he found Tommy. Chris meets him at Tommy’s hotel and the room is empty and all of his stuff is gone. Just as Chris is leaving the phone rings. It was Tommy’s sister Rebecca calling. The real Rebecca Sutter is not the Rebecca that is his wife!

Chris goes home and tells his wife that he just spoke to Tommy’s real sister Rebecca Sutter and she lives in Des Moines. He was furious and asked her who she really was. She told him that her feelings were real and she was his wife. She also said she never had a real chance with him anyway because he was still in love with Elena. He said he will figure out who she really is and he will send her to prison and make sure their babies never know what a piece of trash she was. Wow!

Elena was on her way to see John Ross when Chris saw her. He took a trip down memory lane and professed his love for her. He told her it is over forever between him and Rebecca and he gave Elena her engagement ring back. Elena didn’t meet John Ross, but she sent her mother to return the ring.

Rebecca is at an airplane hangar and we see that the mystery person she was working with was Frank. He told her that she was warned about hiring the Sutter boy and that she has made a lot of mistakes. He told her not to take it up with him, but with her father. Her father comes out of the pane and he is Cliff Barnes! Wow! I didn’t see that coming! She told him she won’t lose focus since Chris threatened to take the babies. They still want a piece of Ewing energies.

Elena and Chris rekindle their love and really turn up the heat! John Ross and JR are in the Ewing Energies building and John Ross tells his father that he plans to take the company from Chris and Elena and he will cut him a deal if he teaches him every dirty trick in the book. Then he threatens JR by saying if he crosses him, he will make sure he will not get any of the oil on Southfork and he will put him back in a home for good. JR is proud of his son and their bond will bring a whole new level of evil next season. There goes peace in the family.

Wow! What a finale and what a season! Dallas never disappoints! What did you think of the episode? Were you shocked that “Rebecca” is really Cliff Barnes daughter? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Thanks for checking in with us each week!
