Casting Update: Actor Daniel Sunjata to Join SMASH

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Rescue Me actor Daniel Sunjata will be joining the NBC musical drama Smash when it returns for its second season.

He will be playing a new love interest for Debra Messing’s Julia.

Smash does not have an official return date yet, but it is anticipated to be back on NBC during mid-season.
