Introducing the New Online Series: “H+ The Digital Series” and Musician Spotlight

By  |

Ever since The Guild debuted online back in 2007 and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog hit the online airwaves in 2008, countless web series have come and gone; but the latest online series – H+ The Digital Series – just might the next ‘big thing’ to hit computer screens.

This new web series is set in an apocalyptic future where technology has begun to spiral out of control. It is a future where the world’s population has retired its cell phones and laptops in favor of a stunning new device by Hplus Nano Teoranta, an innovative technology company that has found a way to connect the Internet to the human mind 24 hours a day.

But something else is coming. Something dark and vicious and within seconds, billions of people will be dead, opening the door to radical changes in the political and social landscape of the planet prompting survivors to make sense of what went wrong.

The creative minds behind this series include:

• Producer Bryan Singer, the director of box office films like The Usual Suspects, X-Men X2, Superman Returns and Valkyrie. Singer has also been an executive producer on the long-running medical drama House, the short-lived Dirty Sexy Money and the box office film X-Men: First Class;

• Director Stewart Hendler, who directed the horror flick Sorority Row;

• Co-Writer John Cabrera, who is also an actor who has appeared on TV shows like Gilmore Girls, NCIS, American Dreams, CSI, Numb3rs, Without a Trace and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip; and,

• Co-Writer/Screenplay newcomer Cosimo De Tommaso.

As for the cast, it includes actors Alexis Denisof (Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Angel); David Clayton Rogers (Jane By Design) and Amir Arison (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) as well as an international cast that includes Finnish actor Samuel Vauramo, German actress Hannah Herzsprung, U.S. actresses Nikki Crawford and Lela Loren, Italian actress Francesca Fanti and Irish actress Caitriona Balfe [among others].
