CHUCK: Meeting the Cast at Nerd HQ

Even though Chuck is over, there was a panel during Comic Con this year, and I was excited to get to go. It was at Nerd HQ, a short walk away from the convention center. A good amount of the cast was there, but not all. Mark Christopher Lawrence, Mekenna Melvin, Vik Sahay, Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin, and Joshua Gomez were there, but Yvonne Strahovski walked out the door just as we were walking in. She had to go to a Dexter signing.

The panel was okay, but not really what I though that it would be. I was thinking a panel about the show and the fans and the ties. It was not kid friendly, even though when tickets were purchased it said for families. There was a lot of bad language and I did not so much enjoy the panel as I did the signing.

After the panel we were told to hang out in Nerd HQ until the signing. We had our picture taken in the Nerd Machine, and that was fun. Other than that I was not impressed with the atmosphere. I thought it was supposed to be kid friendly in the day, but that did not seem to be the case. The music and video games were very inappropriate and it was hard to ignore.

When the signing finally came, we had to wait in a long line. I had my season 5 Chuck T-shirt signed by Mark Christopher Lawrence, Vik Sahay, Zachary Levi, and Mekenna Melvin.

From the signing and panel I figured that Mark is very serious and down to business. I thought Mekenna looked new to the acting business and kind of shy. I also found out that Vik is not very confident in his singing even though Jeffster is great!
