DALLAS: Collateral Damage

As we all know with Dallas the drama starts right from the beginning so get ready! It starts with Chris giving John Ross the sex tape of him and fake Marta since he didn’t need to use it against him (which I think is a dumb move. John Ross always has something up his sleeve just like his Daddy). Chris wants to fight fair for Southfork and for Elena, but John Ross isn’t having it.

Rebecca shows up with a gift basket to thank Elena for taking her to the hospital. Her intentions were good (as far as we can tell) but it all went bad when she got sick and threw up in Elena’s bathroom. Elena figured out she was pregnant and asked if Chris knew. He doesn’t know because he won’t take her calls.

Bobby calls Ann to see where she is. She says she shopping but she is really at a park watching children play. She still doesn’t seem like herself since her ex-husband gave her the locket.

John Ross is having lunch with his cousin Lucy and wants her to help convince Uncle Gary for permission to drill on Southfork. Gary and JR’s approval would be a majority vote and he could drill (right now Gary is siding with Bobby).In exchange for her help, he offers her a significant stake in Ewing Oil.

Elena is having car trouble and Chris tries to help her. He admits that he should have fought harder for their relationship and apologized for his recent behavior. She encourages him to call Rebecca but he thinks she is pushing him away. Then she drops the bomb and tells him that Rebecca is pregnant!

Bobby is working with the cows when the cops show up and arrest him for the assault of Harris Ryland (Ann’s ex-husband that he slapped in last week’s episode). There is a deal, Harris will drop the charges if Bobby apologizes but Bobby is not too happy about this idea.

Chris visits Rebecca and thinks her pregnancy story is another one of her lies. She told him she thought he would be more adult about the situation considering what his birth parents did to him (ouch). Needless to say he stormed out.

Chris told his parents about the baby and his concerns. He made an appointment for a paternity test because he doesn’t trust her. Ann yelled at him and said he was being cruel (she is really losing it). Bobby then told her that he slapped Harris and he was pressing charges, unless he apologizes. Ann can’t believe it and leaves the room (people sure know how to make an entrance and an exit on this show).

John Ross and Elena are having dinner when he sees fake Marta walk by outside. He goes outside but she is gone. He then gets a call saying Vicente wants to meet with him about the oil he was promised in one hour. This can’t be good.

Vicente lets John Ross know that he is not confident that John Ross can deliver the oil. John Ross offers a trade of information for more time to start drilling. He then tells him that fake Marta lied to him about the purchase price of Southfork and kept the profit. He asked Vicente to get his men to chase her out of town and keep her away from him. Vicente gave him one more week and if he doesn’t deliver, they will take Southfork.

John Ross sees Lucy leaving Bobby’s study and knows that her and her father will side with Bobby. John Ross tells Bobby that he owes JR’s investors oil and if he doesn’t deliver by the end of the week all hell will break loose (that is putting it mildly). Bobby has another plan, to link JR to the fraud and get the deed to Southfork back. It is a Ewing family war now!

John Ross tells Sue Ellen everything, and that he has no way of getting in touch with JR. Sue Ellen suggested that he get the oil from Elena’s project but he doesn’t want to involve her in the family drama, for her own safety.

Chris and Rebecca take a paternity test. While in the doctor’s office he tells her about the day they met and how he thought she was so sweet. He is sorry that he fell in love with a lie.

Sue Ellen meets with Elena to ask her to help John Ross with the oil situation since he is too proud to ask her himself. Elena has some reservations, but in the end since Sue Ellen is the sole investor in Elena’s project she strongly suggested that Elena make the right choice. Sue Ellen left and fake Marta is a few tables over staring at Elena! She is crazy!

Elena calls John Ross and he answers the phone but it wasn’t Elena. It was crazy fake Marta calling from Elena’s phone! She told him to meet her at a hotel and he better not call the police. He goes to the hotel room and finds fake Marta alone. He wants to know what she has done with Elena. She knows Vicente’s men have been following her and tells him that if he cares about Elena’s safety he better help her.

Chris visits Elena (she is alright, fake Marta just stole her phone) and tells her that he still wants to be with her but she tells him she is happy with John Ross.

Bobby apologizes to Harris so his charges will be dropped. Harris hands him an envelope and says it will show him who his wife really is. Harris added that Ann is holding something back and if he wants to know what it is, he should open the envelope.

John Ross is still dealing with fake Marta when he realizes she doesn’t have Elena, she just stole her phone. She begs him to help her and he notices that she is video recording their meeting. He snatches her purse to get Elena’s phone back and she scratched his neck. He left and Vicente’s men were heading to her room.

Bobby comes home to find Ann defending Rebecca to Chris. Bobby hid the envelope before joining them. Chris then gets a call from the Doctor to come in to get the paternity test results. Bobby and Ann go with him for support. They found out that Chris is the father and they are having twins! Chris sees the ultra sound with Rebecca and he starts crying. Aw! Ann got overwhelmed and left the room.

John Ross comes out of the hotel and sees a body on top of a car. Fake Marta was dead on the roof of a car. She was pushed out of her hotel window and died. Vicente clearly is not the man you want to piss off. Stunned he got in his car and left.

Ann is still crying staring at the locket. Bobby comes in to let her know the charges against him are dropped. He gave her the envelope and told her that Harris said she would know what it was. Harris said everything he needed to know about Ann was in that envelope. Bobby told her that he wished she would trust him enough to tell him. He didn’t need to open the envelope to know her and if she needed him he was there. Then he threw the envelope in the fire! She was still crying and hugged him. As they hugged, there was a picture of her and baby melting in the fire!

John Ross comes home and is so happy to see Elena. Elena told him she wants to help with JR’s investors and the police show up (twice in one episode). They say that eye witnesses saw his car leaving the scene of the murder of Veronica Martinez, also known as Marta Del Sol. They took John Ross away in the police car to answer some questions.

What a great episode, and the trailer for next week’s episode looks insane! What did you think? Do you think Ann will tell Bobby her secret?
