DALLAS: The Enemy of My Enemy
Things are heating up in Southfork so let’s get right to it! We begin with John Ross and Bobby discussing the sale of Southfork and John Ross threatens to kick Bobby off the land if he doesn’t cooperate. John Ross finds out that the oil trucks that were scheduled that morning did not show up because they were told to stay away from Southfork by the owner of the company (Harris, who happens to be Ann’s ex-husband). Ooh John Ross is not going to get his way after all. Well not yet anyway.
Rebecca and Tommy are looking through Chris’ files and she claims she didn’t find anything useful. She then slips a file folder into her purse and tells Tommy she is going to run out. She is up to something and whatever it is, she still has her eye on Chris. Whether it is for love or money, we will have to wait and see.
Bobby confronts Ann about going to Harris for help without coming to him first. He had his own agenda and now he wonders what Harris expects in return because favors for him are never free.
Chris pays John Ross a visit to collect evidence that JR was involved in fraud (regarding the sale of Southfork). He threatened to show the hot and heavy DVD with crazy fake Marta to the police. John Ross called his bluff and told him to do it because he had nothing on JR.
Rebecca shows up at Southfork and tells Bobby and Chris that she may have a document that can help them save Southfork. She gave them a copy of an invoice to Bobby’s Grandfather that mentions a trust that separates the mineral rights from the land rights. This means that JR owns the land and not the oil. If this is true then JR can’t drill! So Bobby and Chris look for the original. They find a key to a safety deposit box and hope to find the truth.
As Rebecca leaves her nose starts to bleed and she gets real weak. Elena saw her and took her to the hospital. Rebecca insisted that the doctor said she was ok and only wanted to run a few more tests and told Elena she could leave.
JR is in Vegas getting massaged by three different women when his phone rings. His informant tells him about the trucks not showing up and how Chris is blackmailing John Ross. JR wants to see how John Ross handles it and doesn’t appear worried. He has his eyes set on Cliff Barnes. He found out where his poker game is and plans to pay him a visit.
Vicente (one of the investors) stops by to warn John Ross about keeping his father’s promises. They want the oil that was promised to them upon the sale of Southfork. He is not joking around and John Ross needs to get to drilling before he pays the consequence.
John Ross goes to see Sue Ellen to ask for help convincing Harris to send his trucks back to Southfork so he can drill. He wants her to use her political influence to help him. She wants to help him but does not want to play dirty. He stormed out like only sexy John Ross can.
Crazy fake Marta shows up at John Ross’ apartment acting like nothing happened (she is really nuts). John Ross tells her about Chris blackmailing him because of the DVD she made (after drugging him). She apologizes and promises to make it up to him. He told her to get lost but I have a feeling this is not the last we have seen of her.
Bobby and Chris open the safety deposit box and they find a gun, pictures, files and the original deed they were looking for. If it is still valid, JR will not be drilling on Southfork.
Elena and John Ross come home and she goes to draw a bath. John Ross goes in the kitchen and finds a picture of him and Elena with a knife in it. Uh Oh crazy fake Marta is at it! He better watch his back. He leaves and tells Elena to lock the door behind him and asks two security guards to watch the house. He goes to find the fake Marta but she is long gone.
Cliff Barnes’ driver comes to meet with JR in Las Vegas. JR wants to go to his poker game and finds out the buy in is one million dollars. JR agrees and tells the driver to let Cliff know he will be at the game. Then JR calls an informant and tells him to do some digging on Cliff’s driver and then requested a million dollars from Carlos Del Sol.
Ann gets a gift and flowers and assumes it is from Bobby. She opens the card and it is from Harris. The gift was a locket that obviously meant something to her because she started crying when she saw it. Bobby tried to console her but she ran off. Bobby then marched right into Harris’ office and punched him! He told Harris to stay away from his wife!
Sue Ellen paid Harris a visit and asked for his help. She offered him a nice position when she becomes governor if he releases his trucks back to Southfork. He doesn’t accept the offer, but he agrees to release his trucks because he feels he sided with the wrong side of the family. He then made a big contribution to her campaign.
Bobby and Chris show John Ross the document that proves Bobby owns the mineral rights and JR owns the land. They are shutting the drilling down!
Tommy tells Rebecca that the Ewings found a document like one they have been looking for in the boxes. He figured out that Rebecca tipped them off and started yelling at her. She screamed she was tired of him pushing her around and that they were done. She told him to leave Dallas so they can both move on with their lives. She admitted that she is in love with Chris and she is pregnant!
Wow! I swear there is never a dull moment on this show! What is up with Ann’s locket? How do you think Chris will react when he finds out he is going to be a father? Where is fake Marta and what will she do next? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
