NICE BOY OF THE WEEK: Marshall Allman

I had the pleasure of catching up with Marshall Allman at the ATX Television Festival in the beginning of June. He did a hilarious Q&A after a screening of the Season 4 finale of True Blood. He talked candidly about his time working on True Blood and Justified. He was such a great storyteller, and so funny I was even a bigger fan after the screening. He stayed afterwards to talk to fans and take pictures. I was so impressed by him, I knew we had to feature him as a Nice Boy of the week.

Marshall was born in Austin, Texas and moved to Hollywood after graduating high school to pursue his acting career. He started out working on commercials before he steadily started getting roles in film and television. You have seen him on TV shows like Without a Trace, Cold Case, Prison Break, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Mad Men and most recently as Tommy (Sam’s brother) on True Blood.

Marshall confirmed that he won’t be making any appearances in Season 5 of True Blood, but don’t worry he has a few projects coming up to look forward to. You can catch him in the upcoming films Blue Like Jazz with Claire Holt (one of our favorites from The Vampire Diaries) and Jayne Mansfield’s Car with Frances O’Conner, Kevin Bacon, Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thornton.
