LOST GIRL News: Syfy Has Renewed Series for Third Season

By  |

Good news Lost Girl fans!!!

The popular Canadian series that debuted its first season on Syfy this past January and is currently airing episodes from its second season has been renewed for a third season on the cable network. The series originated on the Canadian channel Showcase back in 2010 and is production on its 13-episode third season right now. That third season is set to air this fall in Canada and expected to hit screens here in the US in January 2013.

According to reports at The Huffington Post (that then quickly spread all across the net), the third season of the show is said to be introducing a thrill-seeking fae named Tamsin and evil appearing in places that nobody might expect. There are also reports that there a slight possibility that the current episode order for season three could be extended; but there are no confirmations on that news just yet. But given how well the show has been performing in Canada, that news just might be proven true.

For right now, though, fans can be excited over the fact that the third season of Lost Girl will be making it across the border for the US viewers to enjoy!

Lost Girl airs on Syfy on Monday nights at 10 PM, but it will shift to its new night (Fridays) starting on July 20.
