Sherlock – 9/8c PBS
“Sherlock: The Hounds of Baskerville” finds Sherlock and Watson investigating a murder that occurred 20 years earlier. It was witnessed by the victim’s son, who claims his father was killed by a monstrous hound.

Veep – 10/9c HBO
“Chung” – Selina sees a political threat in Gov. Danny Chung, a charismatic Asian-American war hero.

Girls – 10:30/9:30c HBO
“Hard Being Easy” – At Jessa’s advice, Hannah decides to better her story by propositioning her boss. She subsequently retreats to Adam, who has a different idea about the state of their union. Meanwhile, Marnie and Charlie assess their relationship, and Jessa is determined to reconquer an ex.
