Rueben's Ramblings
Spring is Coming, Spring is Coming
In a week spring begins and with that comes the return of warmer weather, blue skies and, of course, a full landscape of new TV episodes of our favorite shows. If you are anything like those of us here at NiceGirlsTV, you look forward to spring because you know that your favorite shows that were on a short hiatus are soon to be back with new episodes once the doldrums of March repeats are out of the way.
Sure, we are only half way through March and still have to deal with repeats from many of the shows on the major networks – thank God for all the great cable shows that we can enjoy in the meantime – but once we get through that then it is steam full ahead.
I don’t know about all of you, but I am really looking forward to new episodes of Revenge; quite frankly, April 11 cannot get here soon enough and, of course, there are plenty of season finales coming up soon as well as spring premieres for which to yearn.
Thankfully, Once Upon a Time – another new favorite of mine – has not been a victim of the March repeat syndrome and continues to air new episodes, thrilling all of the fans who remain committed to watching the fairytale saga. There is also the return of new episode of Castle over on ABC starting on March 19 and it won’t be soon enough for the adventures of Castle, Beckett and the rest of the team to start anew.
For the fans of The CW shows like The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, Nikita and Supernatural all four shows will be back at the end of this week, allowing their storylines to finally continue until their thrilling finales in May.
And, then there are all the cable shows for which to watch, including more new episodes of Psych, Lost Girl, Being Human, Justified, Army Wives and Breakout Kings to just a small handful. The cable series Fairly Legal and In Plain Sight will also be back with all new season this Friday and I, for one, cannot wait.
Regardless of what type of shows you like to watch or whether those shows are on the major networks or on cable, spring is coming and it’s time to get ready for all the adventures.
Enjoy all that spring has to offer!
