GLEE: On My Way
Winter finale time here for everyone at McKinley. Let’s see how much drama we can put together into an episode for good measure. Here are my thoughts as I watched the Glee season finale, On My Way.
- Sebastian, you’re a jackass for that photo and your horrid Photoshop skills.
- Glee blackmail is also equally awful. But Artie found the loophole, even if I don’t think it’ll matter.
- The world should be scared for the child that will come from Sue Sylvester.
- Is that guy just going to be a dick to David at his new school? Really. Wait to give into all of the worse in bullying for being gay. “Cough Syrup” might be a little too much of a nail being hit on the head for me, but I’m not sure right now. [let’s the moments play out.] Oh David, please do not do that.
- I’ll happily say I’m glad David didn’t actually succeed in that suicide attempt. Quinn, how are you still so close-minded about a suicide attempt? Also on the side of insensitive, an Edible Arrangement.
- Yet again, Sebastian proves that he’s a horrible human being. I don’t even care if you’re dedicating the Warblers’ songs to David or not.
- “Stand” is not something I’m familiar with (what are you doing Lenny Kravitz?), but so far the Warblers’ are not impressing me. I’m also pretty iffy on “Glad You Came”.
(Totally random, but oh hello college from near where I live being in the show. Good on them! Congrats University of Redlands!)
- New Directions, another mash-up at a regional? Can we do something else? You’re sort of redeeming yourself, Shue, though, by letting the Troubletones sing some Kelly Clarkson. I’m all for that moment. There’s some symbolism in Rachel singing “Here’s to Us”, and I’m sure it’ll come back to the end of the episode if that wedding is going to happen as Finn and Rachel are planning.
- Oh look, New Directions wins! (Sorry Sebastian, you’re not a winner today.)
- Quinn in her Cheerios uniform is a nice addition back to the show.
- Pre-emptively, I’m thinking of crying right now. David and Kurt together in a room after all of that. Even if I know that their relationship has been more than a little screwed up. David, please don’t talk to your mom or your best friend again. Please, that’s not healthy at all.
- This I’ll congratulate you if you’ll congratulate me from Sue and Will is pretty hilarious in all the ways that I’ve come to expect from the show. Sue’s hormones must be at work if she wants to help them win Nationals.
- Parents now conspiring to stop the wedding is sort of sad, but something that I would imagine from this show. Doesn’t Finn realize it’s bad luck to see Rachel before the wedding?
- Anytime someone goes home to get something before wedding, there’s a disaster looming. Oh wait, there it is show. Gee, thanks for that way to end an episode. Who doesn’t need a car wreck to make us all wait of how many weeks?
