NICE BOY OF THE WEEK: Jason Priestly

Jason Priestly is guest starring on week’s Psych fall season finale titled “Neil Simon Lover’s Retreat“. He plays Clive who, with his wife, Barbie, are thieves that Shawn and Juliet befriend while on vacation at a fancy resort. Of all the Nice Girls here, I’m probably the one who has very little knowledge of Priestly’s work. In fact, I knew his name and that’s about it. Sad, I know. However, after watching the screener for next week’s episode, I have to confess that I’m now on a mission to try catching as much of his previous projects as I can. And of course, he just had to be this week’s Nice Boy.

Most people know Jason from [easyazon-link asin=”B003FSTN8E”]Beverly Hills 90210[/easyazon-link]. Since playing Brandon Walsh on that show, he has moved behind the camera as well, further enriching his career. In fact, he directed quite a number of 90210 episodes and moved on to executive producer before the show’s cancellation in 2000.

His experience opened the door to directing more television shows including a couple episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager and one episode of Syfy’s  Haven, in which he also has a recurring role.
