In tonight’s all new episode of The Vampire Diaries, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) puts a plan in motion that will give him even more power, but things don’t go exactly as planned. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) aren’t happy about Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) new plan to find Stefan (Paul Wesley), but they go along anyway and Damon is forced into an unexpected confrontation with an unexpected enemy. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) recruits Matt’s (Zack Roerig) help as he continues to try to understand what the ghosts of Anna and Vicky want from him. Unaware that Caroline (Candice Accola) is in danger, Tyler (Michael Trevino) faces an emotional confrontation with his mother (guest star Susan Walters). Josh Butler directed the episode written by Al Septien & Turi Meyer.

This episode is titled “The Hybrid”, and we’ll be seeing an enhanced Ray Sutton. Someone has to stop Klaus!
