CHLOE KING’s Skyler Samuels Meets the Youngest Nice Girl

Note: Genevieve is our 12-year-old Junior Correspondent. She accompanied the Nice Girls to Comic Con where she had the opportunity to meet Skyler Samuels and ask her some questions.

Skyler Samuels plays Chloe King in the ABC Family series The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Chloe is a 16-year-old girl that people have been waiting for to arrive for a long time. She is part cat and is supposed to save the world. Being a teenager, Chloe does make mistakes on the show, but Skyler pointed out that she learns from them.

Skyler was at a panel about TV Obsessions at Comic Con with Melissa. Her answers were so genuine and professional, you would think she’d been an actress all her life! She is very honest in her answers as well. At the panel, someone asked how she thought Chloe’s behavior affects the audience. She answered that although Chloe makes mistakes, she learns from them. There are consequences to the things she does like when she sneaks into a bar even though she is only 16. Skyler thinks this is important for teens to see so they don’t think it’s OK to do the same things.

I was able to get my picture taken with Skyler. I’m sure anyone who has already seen her would know this, but she is really pretty. I also got to talk with her a little and the fact she had time to talk to me was incredible. I remember after talking to her, I felt more comfortable going into the press rooms later. Talking to her made me feel better around the stars. She just genuinely cares.

I really enjoyed meeting Skyler. She was so nice to me. I think she really cares about her fans. Her smile is so big it makes you want to smile. When you think about 17-year-old girls, you usually think about cell phones, boys, and a mile a minute talking. Skyler does not seem like a girl who is all about being famous. Skyler seems to me a very nice girl, who has talent and a good show.
