Four Day, Long Lines, Little Sleep
It’s been three days since I arrived back home from Comic Con 2010, and I’m still recovering. It would be easy to say that the weekend is always difficult, but that implies that the lack of sleep for those days isn’t worth the great spots I had all weekend.
Before all of my coverage goes up, it’s easy to recap my weekend this way: Ballroom 20. Based on a series of coordinated efforts by everyone here, I somehow managed to keep myself in the room all day, every day. That meant early wake-up calls to be around outside.
However, all of that effort made these panels well worth it. The USA shows topped themselves with great moments (Psych‘s opening number may have been my favorite), but the surprise guests were equally amusing. Nathan Fillion’s drop-in during the Joss Whedon panel made all of us giggle, while Matt Nix’s question during White Collar also proved just how much fun these showrunners have here.
In the next few days all of the recaps will appear, but for now, I’m going to go back to my slow recovery from Comic Con 2010.
