Covert Affairs Heats Up With Sendhil Ramamurthy, Oded Fehr

Please be a love interest for Annie!

Covert Affairs is ratcheting up the hottie factor this week when Heroes star Sendhil Ramamurthy joins the cast as Jai Wilcox, an agent with a rich family history within the walls of the CIA. Will his presence give us more insight into the inner workings of the agency? How will he interact with the other characters, particularly new agent Annie Walker?

I find myself hoping for some sexual tension between Annie and Jai. The newbie agent and the agent with the family legacy. The bumbling, endearing, whip-smart hot blond and the (I assume) cool, calm, also whip-smart gorgeous brunette. Maybe they don’t get along at first because he doesn’t think she’s taking the job seriously enough, but on a mission one night, their attraction cannot be denied. Oh wait, that would be a Lifetime movie. At any rate, I’m already an Annie/Jai ‘shipper. Please let this happen!

Also upping the hotness quotient in an already ridiculously attractive cast is Oded Fehr (The Mummy) who will guest star in the August 3 episode as Eyal, a Mossad agent who can’t be trusted. Oded plays mysterious so well, I think part of the appeal of his characters is trying to figure them out. Plus he’s gorgeous. What sort of accent do you think he’ll use?
