TVGuide.com reports that Tom Skerritt will guest star on Leverage this season as Nathan Ford’s father, Jimmy. Sounds like Nate may have learned some of his skills from dear old Dad as the mag says Jimmy will be an active participant in one of the cons. Skerritt is a favorite of mine, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the team reacts to him. Elisabetta Canalis has also signed on for a recurring role as The Italian, a mysterious woman with a hold over Nate.

EW is reporting that Diane Farr (Numb3rs) will guest on White Collar as a waitress who catches Mozzie’s eye. Sounds like this is a one-off, but perhaps there’s potential for a recurring role. After all, Mozzie needs some love, too.

In other guest starring news, Burt Reynolds is stopping by Burn Notice to guest as a former operative who serves as something of a cautionary tale for Michael Westen. Network partner Royal Pains welcomes Marcia Gay Harden, Henry Winkler, and Mary Lynn Rajskub in various roles for its sophomore season. Harden plays a surgeon who butts heads with Jill Flint’s character; Winkler plays the Lawson brothers’ father; and Rajskub is a woman who gets into medical distress.
