The New Adventures of Old Christine – CBS 8/7c – SEASON FINALE
“Get Smarter” – When Christine has Matthew and Barb throw her a “surprise” engagement party so she can get to know Max’s friends, she begins to feel intellectually inferior to one particular guest, driving her to make a “surprising” decision. Eric McCormack (“Will & Grace”) returns as Christine’s fiancée.
Modern Family – ABC 9/8c
“Hawaii” – Jay could not be more excited to do nothing but indulge and relax in this tropical paradise, but then an unexpected reality check dampens his plans. Meanwhile, Phil is determined to make this trip romantic for Claire, Mitchell and Cameron have opposing views on whether to sightsee or not to sightsee, and the kids get into a little bit of mischief when left to their own devices.
Cougar Town – ABC 9:30/8:30c
“Breakdown” – Jules encourages Travis to submit a graduation speech. Despite Grayson’s warning, a curious Jules reads the speech without permission and is left crushed when she finds she’s not been acknowledged. Meanwhile, Ellie uncharacteristically does something nice for Laurie, and Bobby tries to restrain himself from embarrassing Travis on his big day.
In Plain Sight – USA 10/9c
“Love’s Faber Lost” – FBI Agent Mike Faber (Steven Weber in a recurring role) returns to Mary’s life when he gives her a new witness: a key witness and co-conspirator in a nationwide mortgage fraud scheme operated by a major gang. Mary is distrustful of the girl who seems to have a plausible explanation for her suspicious behavior. The events force Mary to work closely with Faber, who appears to have an alternate agenda: sparking a romance between the two.
