Happy Tax Return Day! I got mine in early. A whole day early. It’s the latest I’ve ever filed my taxes. And now I’ve used “early” and “latest” in the same blurb, and we still haven’t talked about tonight’s TV. The Mentalist is a rerun tonight. There, saved it.

Bones – Fox 8/7c
“The Death of the Queen Bee” The team’s latest case takes Brennan back to her alma mater, Burtonsville High School, where she and Booth investigate the discovery of an unidentified skull and upper torso. With Angela’s help, they identify the victim as one of Brennan’s classmates, and notice a possible connection to a second murder committed 15 years prior. Brennan and Booth go undercover as a married couple at her class reunion to interrogate a set of suspects, where even as an adult, Brennan is still predictably misunderstood and her only friend lies in a strangely dark and offbeat janitor (guest star Robert Englund). Meanwhile, Hodgins spills a lab secret.

The Vampire Diaries – the CW 8/7c
“Under Control” – While Stefan (Paul Wesley) struggles to control his new situation, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) are surprised by a visit from their uncle, John Gilbert (guest star David Anders). Alaric (Matt Davis) has an awkward talk with Elena about Isobel. At a Founder’s Day event, Stefan displays a rare party attitude and Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) attempt to find out why Uncle John has returned to town takes an ugly turn. An incident at the party causes trouble between Matt (Zach Roerig) and Tyler (Michael Trevino), and the relationship between Matt and his mother, Kelly (guest star Melinda Clarke), reaches a new low. Meanwhile, Elena’s effort to comfort Jeremy falls short and he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Fringe – Fox 9/8c
“White Tulip” – When passengers aboard a commuter train appear to have died a still death, it seems that a switch was flipped because all cell phones, mp3 plyers, laptops, batteries and bodies have been drained of power. As the Fringe team assembles at the bizarre crime scene, Peter remains suspicious that something is amiss with Walter, who is struggling to keep the unimaginable a secret. When the investigation leads them to Alistair Peck, a very powerful man who has tremendous energy with severe consequences, an ironic set of circumstances surface.

Supernatural – the CW 9/8c
“Point of No Return” – Dean (Jensen Ackles) begins to think the only way to stop Lucifer is to say yes to Michael, but the angels decide they don’t need him anymore. Dean, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) are horrified at the angels’ new game plan and take on Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) to prevent an all out war on Earth. Meanwhile, a familiar face returns.
