NGTV Guide: Monday, April 5

Happy Monday! We have some good TV on tap for tonight, especially the new episode of Chuck. Fans at WonderCon got to see it yesterday, and the buzz is really, really good. If you’re even a casual fan, this is the episode you’ll want to watch live! Plus Castle features a mummy plotline, which ought to be pretty amusing.

Chuck – NBC 8/7c
“Chuck vs. the Other Guy” – CHUCK QUESTIONS SHAW’S EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING – BRANDON ROUTH (“SUPERMAN RETURNS”) GUEST STARS – Chuck (Zachary Levi), Sarah (Yvonne Strahvoski) and Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) reunite to find the Ring operative behind the death of Shaw’s wife. Sarah has faith that Shaw is ready for the mission but Chuck is worried about his emotional stability. Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) considers leaving the Buy More. Adam Baldwin, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

Castle – ABC 10/9c
“Wrapped Up in Death” – The investigation into the shocking death of a museum curator, crushed by a falling gargoyle, takes a bizarre turn when Castle and Beckett learn that he isn’t the first member of a recent archeological expedition to die. It turns out there was a legend inscribed over the burial chamber the team unearthed warning that “all who gaze upon the face of the mummy are doomed.” Was the curator just the latest victim of “The Mummy’s Curse”?  And if so, what does that mean for Castle, who snuck a peek at the mummy when no one was looking?

Also on tonight: Evan Lysacek competes again on Dancing With The Stars on ABC. I wonder what they’ll say about his toes this time?
