Where Ya Been? Building a New Site, That’s Where!

By  |

I’ve missed writing a column for NGTV the past couple of weeks. (“I wouldn’t say I miss it, Bob.”) Not because I haven’t had anything to write about; quite the opposite, in fact, I have two columns started but didn’t have time to finish them before my self-imposed Monday at 5PM deadline, so they languish in “draft” status. I could have rescued one of them, but I wanted to highlight another project I’ve been working on instead:

SciFiTVZone.com

It’s a new site in the Nice Girls network (which also includes True-Blood.net and ChuckTV.net) focusing on sci-fi on television. I know, it was hard to figure that out from the domain name.

The site is run by our good pal Ed Gross, a veteran writer for magazines like Fangoria, Starlog, Movie Magic, and Geek Monthly, to name a few. Nice Girls Tiffany and Reuben are contributing writers. You may have noticed that we haven’t been posting news about shows like Stargate: Universe and Smallville here at NGTV, even though we posted some Comic Con-related items about them. That’s because the bulk of our  sci-fi content has moved to SciFiTVZone.com so the focus here at NGTV remains on our targeted demographic: television aimed at women 25-49. Not that women in that demo don’t like sci-fi (hello, we watch it!), just that it’s not the focus of this site.

So, if you’re a Nice Girl or Boy who enjoys good sci-fi, head over to SciFiTVZone.com for reviews, news, and tons of exclusive interviews.
