Leverage Gets a Third Season

TNT announced yesterday that Leverage will return for a third season next summer with an extended order of 15 episodes. Not a surprise, really, after last week’s order for two additional episodes this season.

The show had strong ratings during it’s first season earlier this year, and season two’s ratings have inched even higher with an average of 4.1 million viewers tuning in per episode. The final three episodes of the summer season air Wednesdays at 9/8c on TNT. The second half of season two will return this winter, followed by the premiere of season 3 in summer 2010.
