TV’s Nice Dad’s List
This Sunday is Father’s Day, and for some reason, it’s never a day that is as publicized and commercialized as Mother’s Day is. After all, if it weren’t for Dads, we wouldn’t be here, right? So we’d like to wish father’s everywhere a very happy Father’s Day, and give our favorite TV dads a shout out as well.
Fringe’s Walter Bishop – Though confused and quite crazy much of the time, we think Walter is a great dad to Peter. Thinking back on the season finale, I’m sure you would agree.
Psych’s Henry Spencer – Henry’s relationship with his son has changed and grown from the beginning of the show, but honestly, Shaun can be quite the handful.
Bones’ Max Keenan – So he wears an orange uniform these days. Max’s love for his daughter is quite apparent and we think he deserves a place on our list.
Castle’s Richard Castle – Who wouldn’t love to have a dad that plays Lazar Tag around the house with you!
Supernatural’s John Winchester – Not only did he train up his sons for the work they had to do, he gave his own life so that one of them could live.
Eureka’s Jack Carter – Often clueless, especially where his teenage daughter is concerned, Jack makes the list just because he’s always there.
Chuck’s Steve Bartowski – Now that we know he didn’t just abandon his kids, we can show some love for this TV dad.
Pushing Daisies’ Emerson Cod – How could we refuse those sad, puppy dog eyes? His daughter may be missing, but this TV dad will never stop looking for her.
Bones’ Seeley Booth – Sure, he’s often busy solving mysteries with Brennan, but he always has time for his boy.
Let’s raise a hearty “huzzah” in favor of our dads!
