NGTV Guide: Sunday, June 14

It seems like it’s been a year, but it’s only been 7 1/2 months since the end of True Blood‘s first season. Season 2 premieres tonight, and it sounds like it’s going to be another juicy season!

True Blood – HBO 9/8c – SEASON PREMIERE
“Nothing But the Blood” – A shocking murder outside Merlotte’s has Bon Temps reeling. Meanwhile, Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) relationship with Bill (Stephen Moyer) is tested when she learns about Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), and of his involvement in her uncle’s death. Sam (Sam Trammell) recalls a shape-shifting encounter he had with Maryann (Michelle Forbes) as a 17-year-old. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) gets a sudden windfall that allows him to pay for a leadership retreat with the Fellowship of the Sun. Two adversaries find themselves sharing a mysterious dungeon and, possibly, the same fate.

In Plain Sight – USA 10/9c
“A Frond in Need” – When a series of murders seem to follow a new ex-con witness, including stabbing Mary’s friend, she and Marshall have to figure out if he’s the killer in time to save his next victim. Guest-starring Laura Prepon, Todd Louiso, Joseph Reitman, Kathleen Wilhoite and Chris Browning.
