NGTV Guide Weekend: April 25-26
Welcome to the first weekend edition of NGTV Guide! We’ve decided to use the weekend to focus on some awesome web-based shows, in addition to a series here and there that we’re watching. If there’s something you think we should be covering, let us know in the comments!
Web Series
Rockville, CA – The WB.com
This adorable series comes from the minds of Josh Schwartz (Chuck, Gossip Girl, The O.C.) and Alexandra Patsavas (genius music supervisor for Chuck, among other shows). Rockville, CA focuses on the lives of 20-somethings interacting at a local club, particularly Hunter (Andrew J. West) and Deb (Alexandra Chando), against the backdrop of live performances from 20 different bands. This being a Schwartz/Patsavas product, the soundtrack is killer and the site includes extra footage of each featured band. The series – 20 episodes of about 6-7 minutes each – is definitely worth snuggling up with your laptop on a rainy Saturday afternoon!
