What I Should Have Been Posting About
I should have had a post last week about my weekend filled with Supernatural convention or Sit Down, Shut Up, but then post-con depression took over (as well as a cold I’m still trying to kick nearly two months later) and I didn’t.
Finally, I caught up with How I Met Your Mother and I didn’t post about any of that.
Yet another sign of what’s gone wrong, I had a post all ready to go in my head last night, and now, it’s just gone. I can’t remember a damn thing about what I wanted to say.
Maybe I should just vent (again) about how American Idol messed with the return of Fringe, but that’s just an angry sentence that is over and done with.
Now I’m just waiting for Life while watching some of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (man do I love watching Smashed) but even that is half-hearted on my part. There’s just something off right now (not that anything I’m watching isn’t good.)
I’ll leave with one show I’m going to miss, and one that has promise. The end of ER was bittersweet. It has all the markings of what I loved in the show (even though I haven’t watched in years) and the happiness that the people at County General will keep doing what they’ve done before.
In ER‘s place this week, Southland has some potential. It reunites me with one of my favorite actors, Ben McKenzie, and also brings a new view to the City of Angels.
