Did you make it through April Fool’s Day with your dignity intact? Yeah, neither did we. Fortunately we have lots of great TV to help us forget all the pranks that were pulled on us.

Bones – Fox 8/7c
“The Doctor in the Den” – A hospital charity event at a zoo ends in tragedy when the mutilated body of a doctor is discovered in a tiger cage, and the case gets personal for Cam when she reveals that the deceased is her former fiancé. Meanwhile, Angela struggles to keep her vow of celibacy. Chad Lowe guest stars.

Samantha Who? – ABC 8:30/7:30c
“The Dog” – Sam feels the urge to be a mother, and she borrows Dena’s dog to see if she’s nurturing enough to care for it. Meanwhile, Regina takes pilot lessons after Howard’s late stepbrother leaves the couple a plane in his will; and Andrea continues to date basketball star Tony Dane.

Supernatural – the CW 9/8c
“The Monster At The End Of This Book” – Sam and Dean discover that their lives as demon hunters are accurately detailed in a series of “Supernatural” comic books. They track down the author, who explains that he sees visions of them and turns those images into comic books.

Note: Tonight is the series finale of ER, so NBC is all ER, all the time tonight. Farewell, show. We haven’t watched you in a long time, but it’s still the end of an era.
