NGTV Guide: Thursday, March 26

Thursdays get a little bit of a shakeup this week as Ugly Betty takes a few weeks off to make way for ABC’s new show In the Motherhood and the return of Samantha Who? We’re waiting to see how we feel about Motherhood, but Samantha is definitely a Nice Girl. In addition, Bones will be pre-empted tonight thanks to President Obama’s address on Tuesday. American Idol will air on Fox tonight instead. We are NOT amused.

In the Motherhood – ABC 8/7c – SERIES PREMIERE
“Vacation” – Jane’s vacation week alone with baby Sophie turns out to be anything but relaxing, Rosemary tries to unionize Horatio’s fellow nannies to help them get the perks they deserve, and Emily and Jason’s “stay-cation” at home gets a thumbs-down from their kids.

Samantha Who? – ABC 8:30/7:30c
““My Best Friend’s Boyfriend” – Sam and Todd go on a double date with Andrea and her dream crush – pro basketball player Tony Dane. But when Todd makes an awkward discovery about Tony that could doom the relationship, Sam decides to meddle in Tony’s affairs in order to keep her friend from being hurt. Meanwhile, Dena asks for Regina’s help when she inadvertently strikes up an online pen pal relationship with a lonely soldier and worries that boyfriend Chase may become jealous.

Supernatural – the CW 9/8c
“It’s a Terrible Life” – Dean and Sam are living very normal and separate lives. Dean is a corporate man who enjoys health drinks and listens to news radio vs. rock stations. He works at a company called Sandover Bridge & Iron Company alongside Sam who is in Tech Support. It seems as if the two do not know each other. However, after co-workers start committing suicide at an alarming rate, the two find themselves working side by side to solve the murders.

30 Rock – NBC 9:30/8:30c
“Apollo, Apollo” – While Jack plans the perfect 50th birthday party for himself he watches old home videos that inspire him to recreate one of the happiest moments he had as a young boy. Liz’s ex-boyfriend Dennis “The Beeper King”  decides to come clean to Liz about an addiction, stirring up drama between Liz and Jenna. Kenneth and Pete  team up to make Tracy’s childhood dream come true.
