NGTV Guide: Thursday, January 15
Tonight’s schedule is a little wonky because President Bush has requested 15 minutes of airtime to give his farewell speech. So far Fox, NBC and CBS have granted that request; ABC has yet to change their schedule to reflect this so who knows if their shows will be starting 15 minutes later. Here’s what tonight might look like for the Nice Girls:
NOTE: Fox has chosen to delay the return of Bones in its new timeslot, Thursdays at 8/7c, until next week.
Ugly Betty – ABC 8/7c (or 8:15/7:15c)
“Sisters on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown” – Betty is torn between work and home in the wake of a family crisis that finds her at odds with Hilda. Meanwhile, “secret” couples Daniel & Molly and Connor & Wilhelmina try to hide their escalating love connections.
Supernatural – The CW 9/8c
“Family Remains” -Sam and Dean investigate the appearance of a young female ghost (guest star) in an abandoned house, but things become more complicated when a family moves in. The brothers fail to get the family to leave, but when the son is kidnapped though the walls, they look to Sam and Dean to rescue the boy.
30 Rock – NBC 9:30/8:30c
“Flu Shot” – Liz tries desperately not to catch the flu, but it’s spreading amongst the “TGS” cast and crew quickly; and Jack is being selective over who receives vaccinations from Dr. Spaceman (guest star Chris Parnell). One is offered to Liz, but she refuses to take it, championing for the rights of the crew. Meanwhile, Elisa (guest star Salma Hayek) is working seven days a week, so Jack must be creative about finding ways to spend time with her.
The Beast – A&E 10/9c – PREMIERE
“The pilot episode grabs you and pulls you into the dark, harsh world of Charles Barker, an FBI agent who specializes in under cover work. Ellis Dove, played by Travis Fimmel, is the handsome, young rookie that Barker takes under his wing, although it often looks more like a choke-hold than a wing-under-taking.” Read the rest of BethAnne’s review of the first two episodes here.
