NGTV Guide: Wednesday, December 10

Tonight we’re watching one of the last episodes of Pushing Daisies and a Bones repeat because someone insisted on pitting the two shows against each other and we’d like to support the idea of airing one after the other. Not that it matters much now that Pushing Daisies will end after 13 episodes. (Bitter, party of three!)

Pushing Daisies – ABC 8/7c
“The Legend of Merle McQuoddy” – Ned and Chuck deal with the traumatic return of someone from their past, while Emerson, assisted by Olive, investigates the odd death of lighthouse keeper Nora McQuoddy, whose murder could expose some of Papen County’s stranger secrets.

Bones – FOX 9/8c
REPEAT
“The Man in the Mud” – A body is discovered at Homestead Natural Hot Springs in a spring filled with mud. Booth and Brennan go to investigate the scene and find that the body is that of Tripp Goddard, a sexy motorcycle racer who had been murdered about two weeks ago after a race. Sweets’ girlfriend is also introduced.
