The Stephen Moyer Brentwood Theater Fundraiser

Are you looking for an idea for a great and long-lasting Christmas gift? A little something to honor someone close to us? A fellow theater lover? A local theater group? Take up collection and buy a brick for your department at work? Why not buy a brick!

When the partially refurbished Brentwood Theatre in Brentwood, Essex, UK, reopened at the end of October 2008, Stephen Moyer attended the gala as both a hometown supporter and as the theatre’s first Patron. His initial effort as Patron is supporting their “Reaching Out, Building On” campaign to help fund the 2008 completion of the backstage facilities renovations.

An additional £75,000 is needed to finish and open the Theatre office and the new ‘multi purpose room’ in 2009 for community use, and fans of Stephen now have the unique opportunity to help give back to the community that gave us our favorite vampire. Those who donate at least £25 (approximately $48US) will receive a certificate signed by Stephen as a thank you. Here are the donation options:

*Buy-A-Brick: £50 (appx USD $80) or more – Donors at this level will be able to name a Brick for the theatre’s donor wall and receive a certificate signed by patron Stephen Moyer. One or two lines (16 total spaces/letters per line)

*Certificates: Donors at the £25 to £49 (appx $40 to $78) level will receive a certificate signed by patron Stephen Moyer.

*Friends: Donors with a minimum of £20 (or $32) and up will receive an honorary membership card in the Friends of Brentwood Theatre good for one year.

*General Contributions from £5 to £19 (approx US$8 to $30) are truly welcomed, since all amounts add up in reaching our goal!

Stephen’s fans have responded so well and already over £1500 has been raised.
